but I think I may know what's happening.
In Propane's preferences window, under the "General" tab,
there's a setting for "Save downloaded files to:". Can you please
make sure that's set to a directory that exists and that you have

About the only thing I can think of is that you've recently
received a new Mac and you used migration assistant (or manually
copied your home folder) or you're using some sort of
syncing solution (mobileMe, dropbox etc) to sync different macs
Is that what's going on here? Sorry to pry, but I'd like to
fully understand the scope of the crash conditions.
Actually I just noticed this after updating to the newest version (Version
1.1.0 (1.1.0.03c3209)) this morning.
I'm not using any syncing software other than rsync though I don't believe
that changed any links or permissions.
To test this I just ran my rsync script which syncs my home directory and
Propane seems to be happy with everything.
