Just installed Propane and there is no dock icon. Tried reinstalling to no avail. Thoughts?

    Hi Randy,

can you reply with a screenshot of Propane running and it not being in the dock?

I've never heard of this before...

    Wow, that's strange.

I see a gap underneath the icon that looks like a digital clock - is that Propane there?

If it is, are you able to drag the empty spot out of the dock and drop it outside the dock? This removes the icon from its permanent location on the dock.

After that, I'd quit from Propane and then from the console do: killall Dock to get the dock to startup cleanly again.

If none of that works or isn't relevant, can you use the Finder to go to the folder where you've installed Propane and double-check: is Propane's icon visible there?

    Thanks, Trev
