The background of the search window is black.. and so is the text color.

I'm not sure when it happened but probably a month or so ago, the search form suddenly changed the background color to black. The text is black too.. so I am flying blind. (see attached screen shot)

Any idea what I can do to change it back to what it used to look like?

Would you happen to be running any Apple pre-release software on that machine?

Hmmm. No idea. Don't think so. I'm not a coder so I don't play around with
pre-releases of the OS for example.

What kind of pre-release software do you mean?

Either OS pre-release or beta versions of Safari, such as 5.2.

    Thanks, Trev

Ugh. Sorry, I just fired off a few replies in twitter and forgot that I had more than 140 characters and didn't have to be terse :-)

What I'm asking is - what version of Safari do you have installed?

    Thanks, Trev

    Hey again,

As luck (?) would have it, I got two other reports of the same issue. It was something I'd only ever seen on early-access versions of the OS and Safari, but it looks like it's more common than that.

Should address the issue for you. Let me know how it works out.
