Hi

We are based in the UK. The current time zone is BST "British Summer Time", which is a daylight savings time zone and is GMT + 1.

We've noticed that the timestamps printed in Propane are showing in GMT, they are always 1 hour behind real local time.

This is showing for all our users, on all our Macs.

Attached screenshot shows me joining a room within the last minute - showing that the timestamp given is 10:40 when local clock says 11:40.

    Hi Tom,

The 'local' time is actually supplied by the Campfire server, based on the time zone in Campfire's settings (https://youraccount.campfirenow.com/account/settings).

My own Campfire's time zone picks up the DST changes here in Canada so I wonder if you're using the UTC timezone rather than London?

If you're using London then I think this is something that should be raised with 37signals support. Let me know if that's the case and I'll point you in the right direction to file a support request.

    Regards, Trevor

Thanks Trevor, that was the problem! Account was set to UTC.

Changed it to London and all is good now.

    Thanks for your prompt response.

    Tom
