So I auto-updated this morning, to 0.8.0, so I'm not sure what my version was last night when this happened. I left the chatroom I thought by pressing Command-Q, but when I brought the machine back to life A) Propane was still open B) it didn't auto log me back in. I'm fairly certain I just pressed Command-W by mistake, which happens a million times on every Apple app, but it was still quite disorienting at the time.

bizarre - I can only say that it sounds more like you closed the window so when it built its "what chat sessions should I restore?" list there was nothing to store.
