Proxy Support

Does this exist or is it planned?

    Hi Casey,

    I assume you mean an authenticating proxy?

    In that case, it's not supported, only because it's not been requested by anyone before - you're the first.

    If I add in support, would you be willing to act as a test subject to make sure it works? I'd need to do some to-and-fro with you to get the implementation right...

    Yah - I'm talking about a tunneling the traffic through a SOCKS proxy -
    similar to how chrome or FF does it.

    And yes I'll test that out for you.

    We need proxy support if possible in propane, due to our http proxies in use.

    Just to clarify does this also mean that Propane doesn't inherit from the system settings if they are configured?

    No this is just means it would be good to have its own separate proxy
    capability ...
