CMD+W/ESC to close windows and some kind of confirmation on quit

Hey!

Love Propane, use it daily. It would be pretty nice if I could use ESC and CMD+W to close windows like Files and transcripts, the preference window and when I open a paste window (that one really annoys me that I have to use the mouse to close the window).

Also I quite often close Propane when I don't want to or close the main window :) Would be great to see something like Chrome's confirm on quit.

Thanks

    Hey,

I agree about being able to use ESC for more windows (currently only the image-viewer window supports it).

However, I'm a bit confused about having to use the mouse to close the paste window - are you saying that command-W doesn't close it for you?

    Hey Trevor,

Hmm… cmd+w is not closing the paste window for me. The only way is to use
    the mouse. :/

    Using Propane Version 1.2.5 (1.2.5.8bb523e).

    Bestu kveðjur / Kind regards

    Hey again,

I just realized that I may have misunderstood you. Are you saying that NONE of Propane's windows respond to command-W for you?

When the offending window is focussed, what does Propane's File window display as the shortcut beside the "Close Window" item?

Sorry, I garbled one of the questions so I'll restate them:

    Hey Trevor,

Sorry for wasting your time. I just figured out that I was being utterly stupid! :)

Some time ago way back I have changed the CMD+W to Shift+CMD+W and I have no idea why I never found the "Close Window" item.

So again, sorry for wasting your time.

Nonetheless the ESC button would be nice to have. Also, I fixed the confirm on quit by changing it to Shift+CMD+Q :) Another thing I should have thought of.

Changed the quit to Opt+Cmd+Q, as Shift+Cmd+Q is to logout :)

    Hey,

Not a waste of time at all - it's a good reminder to make sure ESC closes all ancillary windows (not just the image viewer).
