People in my usual chatroom frequently use certain emoji to 'tag' discussions about certain topics. I've tried setting up message alerts for a specific emoji, but ":emoji:" doesn't trigger a notification. Is there any way for me to make this happen that I'm missing, or is it just not possible?

    Hi Chris,

Because Propane uses the Web UI for Campfire under the hood, it doesn't get the original emoji text representation. Instead, Propane is given the emoji as inline images.

It should be possible for me to reconstruct your colleague's original message with the emoji text representations restored.

I'll look at it over the next few days and let you know if it's something I can push out in a quick update.
