Preference Files and Application Support
Hi,
I've been migrating to a new Mac, and wanted to avoid (or rather was talked into avoiding) using Apple's Migration Assistant tool in order to get a fresh start. With that said, I wanted to copy over preferences from some Apps, Propane being one of them. I've copied over all the contents of ~/Library/Application\ Support/Propane and also the preference file ~/Library/Preferences/com.protocool.Propane.plist. Keychain syncing is turned on, so I can see that my application password for Propane is now in my keychain on my new Mac.
I've taken all these steps, and Propane still acts as though it doesn't know about my old settings. Any suggestions?

Doh! Was copying to the System's Library folder by accident... and of course my local Library folder was shielding it.

Ha!
I was just about to test this out, was pretty stumped by the description... glad to know it's worked out okay.
